Once moulded the finished guard is a tough polymer material with perforated inner and outer surfaces. The molded guard fits snugly against the gums.
The thermoplastic material has a high tensile strength and is biocompatible, biodegradable and BPA-free.
Like the Sisu Aero Guards it can also be heated and remolded up to 20 times, so you can get a truely comfortable fit without destroying the guard's shape.
The night guard starts as a flat, horseshoe-shape; after immersion in 55˚C water, the material becomes bendable, and can be molded against the teeth until it becomes hardened. Hardening take about one minute.
