ArthRem may reduce joint pain and inflammation associated with arthritis, and help maintain healthy joints and connective tissue.
Contraindications
Arthrem should not be taken during preganancy or whilst breast feeding, or women by women intending to become pregnant. Elevated Liver enzymes, liver disease, or liver cancer. Allergy to aretemisinin or any of the non-active ingredients.
Precautions
Discuss with your Pharmacist if you are taking Warfain, Coumadin, Aspirin, other blood thinning agents, or methotrexate.
Arthrem should be stopped 2 weeks before surgery and restarted 2 weeks after surgery.
Adverse Effects ArthRem appear to be generally well tollerated. Some users may experience burping or an aftertaste in the first few weeks of therapy. This can be mitigated by storing the capsule in the fridge and/or taking with a meal or a large glass of milk or water.
Directions
Initially 1 capsule twice daily (morning and evening) increasing up to 2 capsules twice daily. Patients with a body weight of less than 60kg
